Attenuator +
A Eurorack dual attenuator with some really useful added features.
Attenuator A has a ‘Fine’ setting which allows very precise control. In this mode the whole of the knob travel covers only the top 13% of the incoming signal. This can be used for exact tuning of a CV controlling a VCO. When used in conjunction with Attenuator B (‘B’ out patched to ‘A’) in this gives separate course (B) and fine (A) attenuation controls over the same signal.
The attenuators A and B each have separate mute control allowing the CV or audio signals passing through them to be switched off independently.
Finally there is a switched out which is driven from a pre muted feed from the attenuators. So if both mute switches are on there can still be a signal from the switched output. The switched output switch has a centre position which also separately mutes that.
The attenuator inputs are normalled to each other (so if nothing is plugged into B it automatically gets the A input and vice versa).
So a signal plugged into A can appear at the A, B and switched outputs and be individually muted on each of these.
